The Court of Common Pleas is a trial court of general jurisdiction handling all civil and criminal matters. A civil trial term is conducted during each calendar quarter. In addition, it handles child and spousal support matters, child custody matters, juvenile delinquency, juvenile dependency, and Orphan's Court matters.

Provides eligible individuals with vouchers to purchase Pennsylvania-grown produce at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands. Provides out-of-school young adults ages 16 to 24 with academic support, career counseling, and professional development workshops toward developing educational and career opportunities. Services include individualized career development and coaching, GED prep classes and career/educational exploration, paid internship opportunities and pre-apprenticeship referrals, job readiness and life skills training workshops, and transportation assistance and monetary incentives.

This program provides free groceries and essential food items to eligible individuals and families in need.

Assists in finding employment for work-authorized immigrants in fields for which they are best suited.

Provides an education and intervention program to help youth deal with alcohol, tobacco, and other drug issues. Program is for adolescents identified by law enforcement, schools, or agencies as substance abusers.

Receives and deposit all monies due and payable to the County of York. Offers hunting, fishing, bingo, small games of chance, and dog licenses. Collects the County Hotel Excise Tax.

Provides emergency assistance for financially struggling individuals and families in crisis seeking assistance for such things as food, clothing, shelter, rent, household utility expenses and similar miscellaneous living needs.

The center's programs and services offer Allegheny County educators access to professional development, high quality materials and resources to transform and sustain effective reading instruction in grades Kindergarten to 8.
