You will meet privately with a professionally credentialed clinician who will listen to your concerns. The clinician will help you identify areas in your life that you would like to change and help you develop a plan to make these changes. You will meet regularly and be supported by the clinician as you take actions to bring about these changes. The clinician will arrange for you to see a PATH psychiatrist, if indicated. You will meet with the psychiatrist who will complete an evaluation and may prescribe medication for you. You may continue to see both the psychiatrist for medication appointments and see the clinician for therapy.

Provides transportation if the client is Present at the pick-up curb and can depart the vehicle at the drop-off point. Offers a Shared Ride Program for Senior Citizens: Individuals aged 60 and older may use Shared Ride trips for medical appointments, banking, grocery shopping, employment, post office, senior center, adult day care center, pharmacy, social service agency, Laundromat, hospital/nursing home admittance or discharge, and visiting for immediate family members (spouse or children).

Offers a financial education program that supports the opportunity for affordable home ownership in the Pittsburgh neighborhoods of Garfield and East Liberty. Participants are supported through the process of credit building, goal setting, budgeting with potential opportunities to purchase an affordable home. The program also includes education on how to maintain and sustain a property once it has been purchased. Using a predominantly volunteer workforce, Open Hand Ministries also purchases and renovates properties for those low-medium income families who qualify.

Provides income eligible children an opportunity to receive a complete eye examination with a pediatric optometrist who specializes in testing for visual-related learning problems. The clinic is held monthly at our facility.

PA MEDI (Medicare/Medicaid Assistance) Wednesday by appointment.

Program that provides assistance in performing routine household, yard and personal care activities for older adults, people with disabilities, eligible low income people, families whose normal routines have been disrupted by an emergency or others who need or want these services. The objective of in-home assistance is to help the recipient sustain independent living in a clean, safe and healthy home environment.

Offers a full range of nursing/skilled nursing care and short-term rehabilitation options.

Offering a full-range of dental services including: dental exams, preventive treatment, periodontal treatment, restorative procedures, dentures, partials and fixed bridges and dental education. Medical assistance accepted as payment.

Offers an "all-inclusive tuition" and camp experience to boys and girls. Includes house to house transportation, lunch served in unlimited quantities with over a dozen choices, and daily activities.

Services include: EFSP: Federal funding providing emergency heating assistance to individuals with the cost of one month's usage of fuel oil or propane or one month's usage of a past due/current utility bill (water or electric). ESG: Funding for individuals and families facing an eviction, shut-off notice (water or electric), living in a shelter or other place not meant for human habitation.

Offers Head Start and Pre-K Counts, a tuition-free state-funded program providing quality full day pre-kindergarten education to children who are between age 3 and until the entry age for kindergarten.
