Spanish American Civic Association - Nuestra Clinica

Provides the following programs: - A state funded Bilingual Spanish/English Drug and Alcohol outpatient program, licensed by the Department of Health, Office of Drug and Alcohol Programs (ODAP), that provides therapeutic services to Hispanic clients and their families who suffer from problems of substance abuse. Services include assessments and evaluations; culturally relevant Latino and American outpatient drug and alcohol treatment for individuals, families and groups; medical referrals when appropriate; chemical abuse support groups; consultation services offering substance abuse education and prevention to families, schools, businesses, medical professionals, social services and community groups; and intervention programs for youth and adults involved in the program. - A Mental Health Outpatient Center offering assessments and evaluations of mental health disorders, as well as culturally relevant mental health treatment for individuals and their families. Latino Community Center - Promotora Program (Community Health Workers)

Offers a promotora model aimed to promote the wellbeing of Latino families in Pittsburgh. LCC’s promotores and promotoras live and work in the Latino community in Pittsburgh, ensuring that all Latinos have equitable access to services and the tools to implement a healthy lifestyle.

Centro Hispano Daniel Torres - Information & Referral Program

Bilingual bicultural staff assists and connects consumers with programs, benefits, and services that they may be eligible for such as state benefits through the PA Compass System, welfare benefits, public health insurance, etc. Due to their extensive network with local providers they are able to refer clients to where their clients are able to have their needs met. Provides referrals to social service agencies, advocacy, notary services, etc. including referrals to Safe Berks if client fears for her/his life. Dedicated Personnel trained on domestic violence service support through Safe Berks.

Latino Community Center - SOY (Supporting Our Youth)

Assists improvement of academic outcomes for Latino youth, while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage.
