These goals are accomplished by concentrating on developing family support for adolescents in all areas of their lives.

Offers a promotora model aimed to promote the wellbeing of Latino families in Pittsburgh. LCC’s promotores and promotoras live and work in the Latino community in Pittsburgh, ensuring that all Latinos have equitable access to services and the tools to implement a healthy lifestyle.

Offers email support, resources and groups that meet online and in person geared primarily towards adult family members of LGBTQ+ children of any age. We also welcome allies and members of the LGBTQ+ community.. PFLAG does not work directly with youth but aims to improve their lives by supporting families and educating communities. Reaches out to all members of the Hispanic community and promotes Hispanic culture in the Greater Hazleton area and beyond. Services to help guide people through the citizenship and immigration process. Offers a course that prepare person to take the U.S. citizenship test and ESL courses. Shares Hispanic culture with the community, cultural events. Also gives music class for kids, free basic computer courses and various cultural and folkloric workshops for kids and adults.

Offers in-home child development services, parenting and parental support, and support groups. The center can also help families to connect with services and overcome language barriers.

Assists improvement of academic outcomes for Latino youth, while simultaneously building students’ pride in their native language and heritage. Program goals include academic advancement, cultural empowerment, social-emotional development, and family engagement. Students who participate in SOY Pgh also receive a snack and dinner daily.

Offers resources and guidance for young artists to explore their personal and cultural identities and express their creative vision. Participants create portfolios that can be used to apply to art school or respective programs.
