Distributes clothing to those in need who meet the eligibility requirements. They are open every other week. Registered clients can come once per month. In the case of a disaster, clothing is distributed to victims without regard to income limits. Serves the south-east part of Lycoming County; does NOT serve City of Williamsport.

The Older Adult Daily Living Center at Handi-Crafters, Inc's purpose is to provide individuals who no longer want to work, or who wish to reduce their work load, with a viable alternative to working, and give them opportunities to engage in meaningful activities that will both stimulate and maintain their mental and physical capabilities, as well as activities of daily living. Provides placement in part-time community service positions and offers job finding assistance for low-income seniors.

Offers physical therapy for diverse orthopedic conditions and sports injuries, from sprains and strains to concussion care, and post-surgical recovery to rehabilitation for a wide range of conditions.

Students at the after-school centers will benefit from SHINE’s project-based STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math) curriculum to kindle excitement about learning Educational programs, including homework assistance and STEAM-focused projects, are taught. SHINE locations: Kistler Elementary, Wilkes Barre. --Heights Murrary Elementary,Wilkes Barre In addition to the after-school program for students, monthly parenting activities and support services for families also are provided. SHINE’s Home Visitor program offers support and preparation for academic readiness through weekly home visits to pre-K and kindergarten students and their parents. SHINE also offers summer camp held at Wilkes University, offering hands-on science activities for students enrolled in the program.

Offers programs that provide alternative family living arrangements in agency-supervised private family homes for children and youth who have been neglected, abused or abandoned.

The Magisterial District Judge System is a system of minor court judges designed to hear cases involving traffic violations, minor criminal matters, disputes between landlords and tenants, and civil cases such as contract matters or injuries with damages claimed up to $12,000. The system also carries initial jurisdiction over all criminal cases, rendering decisions on the issuance of warrants, and finding sufficient justification to send misdemeanor and felony cases to the Courts of Common Pleas for further action.

Offers one-to-one support for recovery from mental illness through Certified Peer Specialists, people who are successfully progressing in their own recovery and have received intensive training in peer support.

Offers Head Start and Pre-K Counts, a tuition-free state-funded program providing quality full day pre-kindergarten education to children who are between age 3 and until the entry age for kindergarten.

Offers programs for older adults at locations throughout Westmoreland County. Activities include exercise classes, crafts, book clubs, computer classes, and more. A hot lunch is served daily.
