Offers pre-admission assessment for individuals with substance use disorders. Following a clinical assessment, individuals are provided with recommendations for treatment and informed about the options available.

Food bank distributes bags of non-perishable, fresh and frozen foods. Bags occasionally include detergent or toiletries. Individuals must bring proof of residence in Jim Thorpe area and will be asked to sign declaration of need. Food donations are accepted anytime.

Connects families after an illness or death of an immediate family member, or a significant life event such as the birth of a child. If an emergency requires leave for a service member, will verify the emergency to the appropriate military commander. Eligibility for emergency leave will ultimately be determined by each service member’s commander.

Operates a senior center. Services include a daily congregate meal program, health screenings, recreational and socialization programs, educational seminars, wellness programs, driver's education courses, food services, day trips, and more. Provides information and referral to connect individuals to additional services as needed. Operates as a cooling station for those who cannot adequately cool their homes or do not have a place to cool down.

Provides one-on-one tutoring for adults who want to learn reading, writing, math, or English; prepare for the GED; or become a citizen.

Maintains reference desks in the adult and children's section of the library to help users find the information or reading materials they need.

Operates two 100-bed safe havens dedicated to the needs of individuals experiencing intimate partner violence. Individuals and families receive comprehensive, trauma-informed care, including case management, individual and group therapy, and children’s services.

During extreme cold, provides space as a warming center during normal business hours.

Provides individual living and vocational supports in an apartment community setting. Provides assistance with preparing dinner, maintaining apartments and personal hygiene, taking medications as scheduled, and involvement in community activities. On-site staff is present from during weekdays and available as needed on weekends, with 24/7 on-call staff.

Acts as a cooling or warming center during extreme weather emergencies. Service offered during normal operating hours.

Provides a range of outpatient mental health services including psychiatric evaluation and case management, medication management, individual, family and group therapy as well as mobile services. Clozaril support services also available.
