Class will include proper car seat use and highlight the most common dangerous misuses car seat technicians observe. Information will be shared on child hyperthermia and how to avoid the dangers of leaving a child in a car alone. Class held virtually.

Offers a support group for anyone who has experienced pregnancy or infant loss. The group was developed by a licensed social worker and centers around a new theme every month.

Provides creative, therapeutic services and supports, which empower and enable people with mental health challenges to increase their personal, social, and economic self-sufficiency. Treatment modalities include medication management, group and individual therapy, psychoeducational and psychosocial groups. Serves as an opportunity for individuals who have been hospitalized to reenter and adjust to community life and as an alternative to hospitalization for individuals in crisis.

Provides a range of prevention, protection, and supportive services with an emphasis on family preservation whenever possible. Caseworkers provide emergency and planned temporary out-of-home care when necessary to a small percentage of children active with the agency. Works to reunite families whenever possible. When reunification is not a possibility, Caseworkers work to provide a permanent, legally assured home through adoption or permanent legal custodianship. Children who age out of the system transition into independent living services. Services are provided directly by caseworkers, CYF support staff and by a network of contracted agencies.

Provides services to individuals with a mental health diagnosis. Services include: Intake, Assessment & Referral Assistance, Case Management, Residential, Nursing, Drop-In Centers, Children's After-School Program, School-Based Mental Health Services, Student Assistance Program, Psychosocial Rehabilitation, Vocational Support, Consumer Support Services, Outpatient, Partial Hospitalization, Inpatient, Intensive Case Management, Family Based Program, Resource Coordination Program, Crisis Program, and Psychiatric Services.

Enables individuals with disabilities, people who abuse drugs or alcohol, or people who have emotional problems to obtain the training and employment experiences they need to achieve economic self-sufficiency. Services may include vocational evaluation, work adjustment, work experience, training in marketable skills and placement in a competitive integrated employment facility.

Offers air conditioned space for individuals during extreme heat emergencies.

Provides an Emergency Shelter Allowance (ESA) to help individuals/families who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of becoming unhoused, to: Stop eviction or foreclosure Find a long-term place to live Find a short-term place to stay

Promotes research to find the cause, treatment, and cure for Alzheimers disease and related dementias. Provides educational programs for the public, media, health care, and medical professionals. Advocates for clients.

Provides a full-day Kindergarten program. Offers before/after Kindergarten programs with transportation for Broad Street Elementary School for PM session only.

Provides meal preparation and errand running assistance for clients

Provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, as well as police, court, and hospital accompaniment. Offers support groups, individual counseling, and referral information. Hosts individual counseling and support groups for sexual assault at the New Bloomfield, Elizabethville, and Harrisburg locations.

Provides public housing for low-income individuals and families. Consists of eleven communities scattered throughout Cambria County, with four communities designed for older adults and individuals with disabilities.

Provides opportunities for children to further develop interpersonal and social skills while supplementing and supporting the children's elementary school experiences. Opportunities include; summer camp, after-school programs, health education, creative work, life skills, and youth enrichment programs.

Offers a home visiting program that provides child development and parenting education using the "Parents as Teachers" model.

Provides financial assistance in the form of a 4-year forgivable lien to Indiana County homeowners who are age 55 and older or have a disability. The funds can be use for the the replacement of the roof, heating and air conditioning system, or hot water tank/boiler of the applicant's primary residence.

Fire department

Advocates for veterans to secure pensions, education, hospitalization, disability compensation, medical and dental services, burial allowance benefits, loan guarantees, and public housing. Offers special financial assistance for burial benefits and allowances and for certain emergencies. Provides free notary service and information for employment assistance.

Provides an advocate for persons admitted to Warren State Hospital who are experiencing a mental crisis.

Provides assistance to low income families in need of child care.
