For individuals who need assistance or support to maintain independence in the community.

Provides assessments to each consumer's needs individually and a care plan is developed with the consumer, outlining the steps necessary to address those needs. In addition, services include follow-up on consumer referrals and coordination with various service providers.

State licensed childcare center. Offers first and second shift childcare. Also provides before school and after school care.

Provides public library services for patrons, to include; book loans, magazines, DVD's, story time, ABC educational reading programs, summer reading programs, access to computer stations, printing and faxing services, special events and other library services seasonal program, book clubs and a LEGO Club that meets once a month.

Provides air conditioned space for families with children during normal business hours.

Provides homework assistance, academic tutoring in reading and math, book clubs, math clubs, author's workshops, French, computers, heritage classes, special projects and chess. Dance instruction includes African dance, jazz, hip-hop. Additional activities include include tennis, ice-skating, trips, arts and crafts and drumming.

Offer prevention clinics, tips and seminars in conjunction with our physicians, nurses, rehabilitation therapists and other medical providers. Some programs include: The In-School Walking Program, Together for Health School Program for 7th and 9th grades, Diabetes Education Programs, Health & Medical Education Presentations.

Provides eligible individuals with vouchers to purchase Pennsylvania-grown produce at participating farmers’ markets and farm stands. Case Management offers supportive services to assist clients in developing and achieving goals in all domains of life to support independent living in the community. Case managers provide linkage and referrals to resources in the community to meet a person's need as well as crisis management, assistance in filling out applications for benefits, housing and employment.

Provides out-of-school young adults ages 16 to 24 with academic support, career counseling, and professional development workshops toward developing educational and career opportunities. Services include individualized career development and coaching, GED prep classes and career/educational exploration, paid internship opportunities and pre-apprenticeship referrals, job readiness and life skills training workshops, and transportation assistance and monetary incentives.

Provides grandparents or older relatives (excluding the parents) with reimbursement benefits. Reimbursable services and supplies included but not limited to: child care, respite care, equipment and supplies to address the developmental needs of the child, counseling, tutoring, education and support, and school-related expenses. Grant money may also be available to assist with the cost of assistive/adaptive devices and home modifications.

Our Low Vision Store, located on the second floor of our building, specializes in providing low vision products, adaptive devices, and technology for the blind and visually impaired.

Offers public library services. Serves as a warming/cooling center during periods of extreme cold/heat.

Consumer services include:

• Maintenance of broken water main
• Maintains mains
• Maintains meters
• Maintains lines from main to valve box at curb (curb to meter is homeowners responsibility)
• Handles complaints about cloudy or dirty water
• Investigation of low water pressure
• Providing information about the water supply. (Call Laboratory)
• Maintains a list of local laboratories that have been certified by the EPA to test the water quality.(i.e. Lead content, call Laboratory)

Provides group housing for children and adolescents at risk, with dual diagnosis, whose complex support needs require multi-system involvement.

Works to create sexual violence awareness and prevention education within communities.

Offers educational programming and outreach to local schools and community groups. Available programs are subject to change but could include: Breaking the Cycle, Stranger Danger, and Bullies to Buddies. Programs provide information and education regarding recognizing healthy and unhealthy relationships, teen dating abuse, helping a friend who is in an abusive relationship, self esteem and self respect, and the risks of drugs in correlation ot abuse.

Provides a variety of individualized outpatient programs, which may include physical therapy for patients with joint replacements, neck, back and shoulder pain, sports injuries, work-related injuries, orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pain management, hip and knee rehabilitation, arthritis rehabilitation, occupational therapy, hand rehabilitation, wound care, speech and language therapy, burn care, vestibular rehabilitation, dysphagia programs, lymphedema therapy and discharge planning.
