Provides assistance for completing applications for the CAP UGI (Gas) Assistance Program. Program offers qualified low-income customers assistance in managing their gas utility bill. Provides a personalized monthly payment based on income and average bill. Past due debt forgiveness with on time monthly payments is available for those eligible. The difference between the CAP payment and the actual usage bill may also be forgiven.

LIPURP helps residential customers maintain electric service and eliminate their past-due balance. LIPURP offers a reduced bill that is based on a percentage of income and debt forgiveness. Debt forgiveness credits are applied directly to participants' electric service accounts in recognition of payments that are paid in-full. The goals of LIPURP are to: Improve ability to make a payment, Reduce consumption of electricity (eligible CAP customers must participate in West Penn Powerâs LIURP program), and Reduce electric account debt.

Offers customers with a limited income a reduced monthly payment based on family size, income, and energy use while offering the household the ability to erase back utility debt.

Qualified customers are offered affordable utility payments through their Customer Assistance Programs (CAP). These programs offer a reduced monthly payment as coverage for utility service, cancel a portion of any debt owed to the company, and provide energy education and weatherization services.

Offers personalized monthly payment amounts based on gross income, household size, and energy usage at the property. CAP Program does not help with shut off notices. CAP Program arranges a reduced payment plan for UGI-Penn Natural Gas customers who are eligible and have an active UGI-PNG account. Customers must have a verifiable source of income on which the CAP payment is based. Part of the customer agreement with UGI-PNG is that the customer apply for LIHEAP (Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program). SLHDA, Inc. is able to assist UGI-PNG customers with the completion of their LIHEAP application and forward the application to the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare for processing.
