This 200-acre wildlife sanctuary and wilderness trust sits on the slopes of Bougher Hill above the Delaware River in Northampton County near Riegelsville. Except for the area around the preserve office and four small meadows at the top of the hill, the preserve is entirely forested displaying a variety of forest types from oak-dominated forest on the north-facing slope to a mixed oak-sweet, birch-tulip tree forest on the south-facing slope. The sanctuary offers a nature center, walking trails, a wildlife viewing blind, information kiosk and interpretive signs along trails.

Elder abuse may involve one or more of the following:

    Abuse may occur when a caregiver fails to meet the needs of the older person or when older people fail to take care of themselves. Protective Services are provided under one or more of the following conditions:
    • 60 years of age or older
    • Incapacitated person
    • Unable to obtain or perform services necessary to maintain physical or mental health
    • No responsible caretaker
    • Imminent risk of his/her person or property
