Provides financial assistance for security deposits and/or rent.

Provides emergency aid, in the form of either a direct grant (a cash gift, not to be repaid) or an interest-free loan, and by giving college scholarships to children of soldiers.

Provides information or assistance for housing needs including transitional housing, shelters, landlords, security deposit assistance, rent and utility assistance, help with eviction notices, and a service coordinator.

Provides housing at the Bush House boarding home in the downtown area of Quakertown. Also assists with placement, back rents, housing costs, food, and clothing.

Provides a one-time payment up to $400 to prevent eviction or $100-$300 to obtain temporary or permanent shelter. There is no monthly rental assistance or subsidy available. Need must be the result of an emergency such as eviction, living in hazardous conditions, homeless or near homeless. If more funds are owed than CAO can offer are required to prevent or resolve the emergency, the applicant must have another way to pay the remainder due. The individual or family must have sufficient income to afford future rent. Items are verified with landlord/employer, etc.

Short-term, one-time, partial rental payment assistance and utility assistance.

Offers an Emergency Shelter Allowance, ESA, to help a homeless or near homeless family/individual to: stop eviction from your home/apartment or foreclosure of your house; find a long-term place to live; find a short-term place to stay.

Provide assistance with back rent, first month's rent, or security deposit depending on eligibility when funding is available.

Provides emergency relief for bills and rent to prevent termination or eviction as well as offers assistance for security deposits. Can also help with car repairs by purchasing replacement car parts (up to $250), but will not cover the cost of labor.

Contingency funds are financial supports used to assist with rents, security deposits, household items and some unique needs, such as arrears and utilities. Funds are capped at $1,000.00. Potential clients need to make a prior appointment before coming to the office.

Provides a complete intake for each household to determine what is needed to assist the emergency financial crisis. Referrals will be made and financial assistance may be given depending on need and availability of funds.

Provide emergency rental assistance with either the first month's rent or a security deposit OR the funds to remain in current living situation. Serves as an assessment center for intake into the Western PA continuum of care for housing services.

Provides financial assistance to households in an immediate housing crisis. Financial assistance up to $1500 for a family, and $1000 for an individual may be available.

Provides one-time assistance emergency and preventative assistance. Services include rental assistance and move in assistance; and prevention of shut-offs for electrical, water, sewer, gas and other utilities; assistance with automobile insurance and payments; and ride share apps.

Helps families who are homeless or facing homelessness through eviction or other circumstances. The program will make a rental-related payment directly to the landlord to pay for a security deposit, first month's rent, or both.

Screens individuals and families who are experiencing literal homelessness for assistance with first month’s rent and security deposit. Refers eligible clients to funding agencies.

Rental assistance, case management and financial literacy are available for individuals/families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, such as facing eviction and electric shut-off notices.
