While performing contract work, individuals learn task completion, safety in the workplace, problem solving, following directions, and dependability. There are also opportunities to participate in career classes geared toward readying individuals to move on to competitive employment in the community.

In 2010 we employed over 80 people on our community work crews in housekeeping and light assembly for local business and government.

Courses take place one night per week and addresses electrical safety, theory, tools, circuits, equipment, materials/wiring, and calculations. Training is appropriate for beginning careers in residential, commercial, industrial, and lineman jobs.
