Home and Community-based long term care services can be provided as an alternative to nursing home care through the Waiver Program.

Services include Community and School Based Behavioral Health, Family Based Mental Health Services (FBMH), Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and Student Assistance Program (SAP).

Specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and mental health issues. Services include withdrawal management, short- and long-term residential treatment, co-occurring disorders residential treatment, and an acute inpatient co-occurring disorders unit. Speakers are available to provide educational programs on substance use and prevention.

The Wayne County Correctional Facility is located on Mid-Wayne Drive, which is off of Route 6, in Texas Township Pennsylvania. The facility houses both male and female offenders in various housing units.

Intership offerings include: Dental Internship: The dental internship program has been modeled after NTIEC's long-standing hospital internship program, whereas students will participate for three hours a day, once a week for approximately five-seven weeks during the fall and spring semesters. This unique opportunity will provide students with an up front and close look at the various jobs available in dentistry. They will observe and shadow dentists, dental assistants, dental hygienists, lab technicians and the office staff. Intership designed for 10th to 12th grades. Hospital Internship: Students visit area hospitals for two to three hours once a week for six-seven weeks during the fall or spring semester. Students focus on one key department during each visit and participate in a department tour, meet the staff, learn about the work and discuss educational requirements for success in the particular staff specialty. Provides a certified peer specialist (CPS) to a veteran diagnosed with severe mental illness. The CPS helps navigate recovery and personal challenges through support and guidance.

Administers Rural Development programs, providing services such as financial assistance, business development, and technical assistance to rural businesses.

Provides individual trauma counseling.

Partners with schools and community centers across the city to offer wrestling programming to Philadelphia youth. Also offers a mentoring program at headquarters for high school participants of the wrestling program; mentoring includes homework help, test prep, and college/career readiness assistance in a safe environment.

Assists individuals with serious mental illness who are residing in a community setting and are experiencing difficulties maintaining adherence to their medication regiment.

Provides home repair and renovation assistance for owner-occupied households, subject to funding availability. Funds may be used for eligible home repairs and debt consolidation within program guidelines.

Provides a full range of employment services to assist veterans in their search for work. Specially trained veteran employment representatives located in PA CareerLink® offices provide veterans with a full range of employment services, including referral services, job development, referral to training, and referral to government and community veteran service agencies. These representatives help veterans match their job skills to employer job openings and contact employers on behalf of the veteran for consideration in hiring. PA CareerLink® offices comply with the Jobs for Veterans Act by providing priority services to veterans. Local Veterans Employment Representatives and/or Disabled Veterans Outreach Program Specialists are available at PA CareerLink® offices to assist veterans with job search and other employment needs. Job seekers identified as veterans are matched to job orders, before any other job seeker matches are performed.

Offers programs to educate the community about safety, including bicycle safety education and a car seat safety program. Also provides first aid and CPR training to groups and employers.
