Offers support to women as they address any possible obstacles to securing employment. Through the tools and resources they receive, participants are empowered to continue and succeed in their job searches. Women meet regularly to support and encourage each other through building confidence, networking and discussing workplace-related topics.

Provides mandatory medical assistance for behavioral health services in Allegheny County. Helps individuals get medically necessary mental health and substance use treatment services including recovery-oriented services for people with mental illness and substance use disorders.

Offers mentoring and support for expectant fathers to further support their partners in pregnancy and parenting.

Provides care management services including involvement for doctor’s visits, medical advocacy, friendly visiting, travel companionship, interaction with medical providers, regular check-ins by phone, bi-yearly in-person visits for updates, and around the clock availability in the event of a crisis.

Provides play and art therapy services.

Treats chronic wounds using techniques including hyperbaric oxygen therapy, negative pressure therapies, bio-engineered tissues and bio-synthetics. Healing wounds that have not responded to traditional treatment.

Provides certified ASL interpreters for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing population. Offers several levels of service including interpreters with specific training and certification for medical and legal language.

Provides individuals struggling with addiction and co-occurring mental health issues with help to build a strong foundation for long-term recovery. Services include: A) Medically Monitored Detoxification and Residential Rehab B) Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) C) Co-Occurring Treatment and H.O.P.E. Program (Opioid Addiction) D) Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) E) VA Community Care Network (CCN) Provider and Veterans Program

Assists the county commissioners in administering the provisions that relate to the burial of a deceased service person and their spouse, and the furnishing markers for their graves.

Provides varying levels of care including palliative care, hospice care, and general nursing care.

Services are provided when there is a reasonable expectation that employment is a possible outcome of the services. "Employment" means not only competitive placement, but also in some instances, homemaking. Services may include:

• Evaluation of medical, psychological, occupational, and educational abilities and limitations
• Providing comprehensive medical, psychological, and allied services to minimize the disabling condition and enable the person to work
• Assistance with setting vocational goals and making plans to attain them
• Developing job skills through vocational and technical schools, universities, on-the-job training, or rehabilitation workshops
• Independent living services
• Placement in employment
• Post-employment services
• Adaptive equipment necessary for employment
• Rehabilitation engineering services

Provides food pantry services.

Offers a community lunch. Food is also available to be taken for later. Because of COVID-19, lunch is being distributed at the door until further notice; individuals are not allowed inside the shelter.

The Kline Health Center is located on the second floor of the Landis Building on the Polyclinic Campus. Services provided and conditions cared for include: General Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Diabetes/Endocrinology, Rheumatology, Foot and Ankle problems, Surgery, Hepatitis C, Adult REACCH Program, Sickle Cell.

Provides public education.

Provides one on one peer counseling and/or recovery group Bible study.

Provides information about Allegheny County government departments and services.

Assists eligible residents who need assistance to accomplish daily living tasks. Services include light housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping and errands. Personal Care Services consist of bathing, dressing, grooming, food preparation, eating, ambulating, medication reminders and health maintenance activities. Qualified individuals may also be eligible for shopping, laundry and housekeeping assistance.

Provides non-medical personal assistance home care, home health nursing care and skilled physical, occupational and speech therapist. Services are provided in the individuals home or other independent living environments. Accommodates ongoing care, one-time-only requests when regular caregiver/family member is out of town.

During extreme cold, provides space as a warming center during normal business hours.

Administers case management and blended case management for mental health support and service.

Serves monthly meal the 1st Sunday of every month unless affected by a holiday such as Christmas.

Offers academic programs for children and are divided into Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced classes.
